Influenza Vaccination for Children under 9 years old:
Children less than 9 years old need two flu shots, preferably before the flu season begins. Thus, these children should start the flu vaccine series ideally before those who only need one dose.
Children aged 9 and above only need one dose.
Influenza Vaccination in Pregnancy:
-
- Persons who are or who might be pregnant during the influenza season should receive influenza vaccine.
The Abrysvo (RSV vaccine) is a bivalent vaccine used to lower the risk of illness caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). This vaccine is available at our Full Circle Health Pharmacies only. RSV Season last year (2023) in the Treasure Valley started around mid-December.
Pregnant Women:
It is recommended that pregnant women receive this vaccine during week 32-36 of pregnancy.
Infants:
All newborns will receive Nirsevimab (RSV Vaccine) prior to discharge from the hospital. Immunizations are not recommended to protect infants outside of RSV season. Infants born in October 2024 through March 2025 should receive Nirsevimab.

Vaccine Policy Statement
Here at Full Circle Health, we support childhood immunizations. We recognize the vital role vaccinations play in safeguarding the health of your children. Getting your child vaccinated not only helps protect your child, it also helps protect others in your community—like your friend who cannot get certain vaccines, or your neighbor’s new baby who is too young to be fully vaccinated. When everyone who can get vaccinated does get vaccinated, it helps to prevent the spread of disease within a community.
