Resident Physician
Dr. Alec Akins grew up in northern Minnesota and earned his medical degree from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. He chose family medicine because of the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. His clinical interests include rural medicine, sports medicine, procedural care, injury prevention, and helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Outside of medicine, Dr. Akins enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, hiking, golfing, and exploring all that Idaho has to offer.
