Laura Geraghty believes counseling begins with connection. She is committed to building trusting therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work toward healing and personal growth. Laura works with individuals navigating life transitions, recovering from trauma or neglect, breaking unhealthy personal or family patterns, and building healthier, more fulfilling relationships. She believes that every step toward positive change, whether big or small, is an act of courage.
Laura primarily works with adults, teens, and preteens. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory, Adlerian therapy, and relational-cultural therapy, with a focus on safety, belonging, empowerment, and meaningful connection. She tailors her counseling approach to each individual’s unique needs by drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Laura is LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcomes people of all cultures, ethnicities, identities, and backgrounds. She also supports consent-based lifestyles and strives to create a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment where every client feels accepted, heard, and valued. Her goal is to meet clients where they are and help them build healthier, more connected lives.
