Charlotte Houston is a Psychology Intern at Full Circle Health, providing counseling and mental health support to patients in the Nampa, Idaho region. Her goal is to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate environment focused on patient goals and lasting behavior change, using approaches like acceptance to help patients build a more functional relationship with pain and suffering rather than trying to erase it.
Charlotte has always been curious about the “why” behind behavior and how people overcome challenges – combined with her desire for a meaningful, impactful career, it made behavioral health a natural fit. What she enjoys most is listening to her patients’ stories, an experience that has given her deep compassion for others in her everyday life.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, gardening, swimming, and knitting. Fun fact: she spent a year working on small organic farms after undergrad, before going back to school!
