Resident Physician
Dr. William Buick grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and developed a passion for the outdoors while attending high school in Maine and later studying Spanish and International Affairs at the University of Colorado. Before attending medical school at the University of Vermont, he worked in a variety of roles including EMT and emergency department technician, which deepened his interest in rural and emergency care.
He chose Family Medicine for its broad scope and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients. His clinical interests include reproductive health, wilderness medicine, palliative care, and addiction medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Buick enjoys biking, running, and skiing with his dog, Arlo, as well as pottery and gardening. He and his partner are excited to be part of the Boise community.
