Dr. Shalimar Burwell is dedicated to building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and supporting their health through every stage of life. She is especially passionate about caring for underserved communities and has a strong interest in women’s health, lifestyle medicine, and global health. Originally from rural Missouri, Dr. Burwell moved to Idaho as a child and is proud to serve the community she calls home. She earned her medical degree from Saba University and completed clinical training across the U.S., gaining valuable experience in diverse healthcare settings. Outside of medicine, Dr. Burwell enjoys baking, traveling, and creating glass art with her husband.
