Resident Physician
Dr. Emma Fitzsimmons grew up in small-town Vermont and brings a passion for global cultures, community health, and full-spectrum family medicine to her work. She earned her degree in Global Studies from the University of Vermont and later worked in socio-clinical research at the University of Washington, focusing on HIV care and the social drivers of health. Inspired by her patients, she pursued medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where she deepened her commitment to primary care and developed additional interests in obstetrics, critical care, and palliative medicine.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Emma enjoys skiing, backpacking, gardening, and sharing meals with friends. She is thrilled to be part of the Boise community and to care for patients across all stages of life.
