Christopher Prokosch, MD

Resident Physician

Dr. Christopher Prokosch joins us from snowy Minnesota, where his love of the outdoors began with canoeing, cross-country skiing, and Nordic sports. He discovered his passion for serving underresourced communities through his early work with migrants at community health centers and clinics across the U.S.-Mexico border.

Dr. Prokosch earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he also advocated for healthcare access at the state and national levels. His clinical journey has taken him from the remote villages of Alaska to the migrant shelters of Tijuana, shaping his dedication to comprehensive, compassionate care.

He is especially interested in acute care, inpatient medicine, dermatology, procedures, and preventive health. Outside of work, you’ll likely find Dr. Prokosch on a river, hiking trail, or cooking up something new in the kitchen. He is excited to care for the Boise community while training at Full Circle Health.
