Vaiola Grow, MD

Vaiola Grow’s NameDrop

Dr. Vaiola Grow was born and raised in Samoa in the South Pacific. Both her parents were avid teachers so naturally, she grew up nourished on strong values of family, hard work and education. A medical emergency at a young age not only opened her eyes to the disparities and deficits of the healthcare system, but it also ignited a passion for medicine. This passion has propelled her into a life of perpetual learning to be an apt physician and make a difference.

Dr. Grow graduated with her BS Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Utah. After her undergraduate education, she worked as a lab technologist and her passion for medicine continued to grow as she found several avenues for volunteering in her community to serve those trammeled by poverty or lack of resources. Dr. Grow completed her medical degree at the Oceania University of Medicine in the South Pacific, where she began medical school as a mom of three and had her youngest during her second year. As a mom of four boys, the adventures and shenanigans are superb and endless. Her boys are her world, her home and her reason.

Dr. Grow absolutely LOVES serving in diverse communities, especially in underserved areas where she can help provide care for those who face barriers in healthcare due to financial, social, and cultural challenges. Family medicine encompasses so many areas that she is passionate about, including women’s health, health advocacy & preventative medicine and rural health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her Ohana, dancing, playing volleyball and traveling.  She feels incredibly blessed to further her medical training at Full Circle Health Nampa and working with the amazing Nampa community.
