PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency

Full Circle health has been offering a PGY-1 Community Based residency since 2018. The pharmacy resident works in the 340-B pharmacy yet has direct patient access to the primary care and specialty clinics offered by Full Circle Health.  The advantage of our program is that all of these electives required learning experience can be attained within our two main pharmacies at our clinics.

Full Circle Health is the largest and longest standing physician training program in the state of Idaho.  The entire organization is committed to training primary care physicians for future practice.  Incorporated into this is the Clinical Pharmacy staff and the 340-B dispensing pharmacy providing medications to our patients.  As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we provide care to underserved patients in the community and have expanded patient care activities into a variety of areas.  The location of our dispensing pharmacy in relationship to the primary care areas allows the Pharmacy Resident ready access to these patients. The specialty patients that we care for include HIV, Hep C, refugee, dermatologic and rheumatologic patients, LGTBQ, transgender, as well as the more traditional patients in the ambulatory care clinics with an emphasis on diabetes, congestive heart failure, COPD, asthma and assisting with patient that are transitioning care.
