Sarah Bardwell, MD

Dr. Sarah Bardwell grew up in Denver, CO where she spent 10 years working in the service industry to make ends meet and dedicating the rest of her time to social justice issues. At 27, she decided to pursue her passions for social justice through medicine and began her studies at the University of Colorado Denver where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Biology. She went on to study at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where she identified her passion for full spectrum family medicine. Before graduating, she took a year off to study medical Spanish in Mexico, Ecuador and PerĂº so that she could better serve Spanish speaking populations and decrease barriers to care.

She chose to come to Idaho and completed her residency training at Full Circle Health Nampa where she developed a partnership with Genesis Community Health to enhance access for uninsured patients in Caldwell. After graduating, she decided to stay on as faculty in Nampa where she could continue to develop as a physician and educator. Her clinical passions are full spectrum family medicine, reproductive health care, de-medicalizing health, improving access to health care for underserved communities and medical education. Outside of medicine she enjoys mountain activities, hot springs, travel to anywhere, wine tasting, being a low key foodie, learning to salsa dance, weightlifting and spending time with family, her partner and their dog.
