
Born and raised in the scenic deserts of Grand Junction, Colorado, Dr. Ryan Roper developed a deep appreciation for service and the outdoors early in life. Before pursuing medicine, he worked as a ski patroller, wilderness therapy guide, and technical rescuer with UCSAR, reflecting his passion for helping others in high-stakes environments.
Dr. Roper earned his undergraduate degree in Emergency Services Administration and Critical Care and spent several years working as a paramedic, where his love for medicine truly took root. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.
With a strong commitment to rural and underserved communities, Dr. Roper is driven to expand access to high-quality, full-spectrum family medicine. He values building meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients and is especially interested in addressing healthcare disparities unique to the Pacific Northwest. His clinical interests include comprehensive family care, emergency medicine, and advancing innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.
