Katelin Richards’ NameDrop

Dr. Katelin Richards always wanted to pursue a career in which she bettered the lives of those around her. After shadowing a local family medicine physician, she knew family medicine is where she belonged. She enjoys the diversity that family medicine brings and the challenge of helping the underserved. Katelin is looking for a career in which she can help her patients live their best life, whatever that means to them. She is also dedicated to making her patients feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. She pursued an education in Meridian, ID and the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Katelin feels blessed to now complete her training in the Treasure Valley where she grew up.

Katelin grew up playing hockey at Idaho Ice World and went on to play Division III hockey for Neumann University where she obtained her Bachelor’s. She is still an avid hockey fan and loves to watch her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, whenever she has the chance. Her other hobbies include golfing, laying in a hammock by the Boise River, playing the ukulele, jigsaw puzzles, and enjoying good food and drinks on a patio.
