Dr. Hollie Bearce grew up in the scenic town of Maltby in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. As a proud member of the Samish Indian Nation, she deeply values her cultural heritage. From an early age, she developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a strong sense of community.
After graduating from Bothell High School, Hollie earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Italian from the University of Washington. Her passion for science and healthcare led her to pursue further education, earning both a post-bachelor’s and a master’s in Medical Laboratory Science from Idaho State University, before completing her doctorate in medicine at the University of North Dakota.
Hollie’s career began in a ski town with monoclonal hybridoma research, but she later shifted to a critical access hospital, where she discovered her passion for patient-centered care. Over time, she advanced into laboratory management, where her commitment to improving patient care and hospital operations made a lasting impact.

Hollie enjoys life with her husband and two young children; they are excited to return to the Gem State and take advantage of Idaho’s outdoor recreational opportunities. Hollie is also passionate about the performing arts and has participated in over 40 theater productions, which provide a creative balance to her medical career.
Her life reflects a commitment to improving her community and embracing new challenges while balancing family, career, and personal passions. She has a special interest in obstetrics, community-based medicine, and whole-person care.
