Lauren Nesbit, MD

Lauren is a Southern Idaho native, rooted in the outdoor, hardworking culture that lead her to medicine. As a curious kid, she spent her days exploring her corner of the world via horseback or cultivating her love of reading. She stayed tied to her local roots in attending Boise State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Health Sciences.

After graduation, Lauren enrolled at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Not only does the school have an incredible medical program, it provided the option for Lauren to do much of her training in Idaho, the state she loves and wants to build her practice in. Lauren’s passion for family medicine was birthed and she is focused on providing medical care to families in a rural area. She knew that the Magic Valley was the perfect place for her to begin to build your trust in her medical profession.

When she’s not providing medical care for her patients, Lauren can be found baking or cooking cookbook worthy meals, riding reined cow horses, or adventuring time with her dogs, Finn and Val. Lauren and her partner Travis run cattle, raise horses, run two businesses out of their home and do their best to throw in a few evenings spent fly fishing. She is an intentional and active part of the Magic Valley communities and looks forward to meeting you!
