Application Process

Applications are accepted via ERAS and interviews will be conducted both in-person and virtually for a hybrid season in 2025.
The deadline for receiving applications with ERAS system is October 3, 2025, and the interviews will start October 17 to December 19, 2025.
Thalamus Info
We will be using Thalamus as our interview tool in which all messages, notifications, and interview invites will be coming through emails from Thalamus, so it is important to watch for any emails from Thalamus.

Only ERAS applications are accepted: applicant must contact their medical school.
Our deadline is October 3 but we highly encourage you to apply as close to September 24 as possible. Interview offers will occur between September 26 and October 3.
International medical graduates must have a passing score on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2.
International medical graduates must be fluent in both written and oral English. Our Residency Program does not support or sponsor VISA’s of any kind.
For international medical graduates, please contact the Idaho State Board of Medicine to make sure your medical school is an approved school for licensure in Idaho, (208) 327-7000. If not approved, we cannot accept your application.
Applicant should ideally not be more than two years out of medical school.
Three letters of recommendation are required. One must be a letter from a Family Medicine physician with whom you have worked.
