Tulane University School of Medicine

Dr. Bridget Bunda was born in New York City and spent time between New York and Connecticut during her childhood. For college, she headed up the coast to Boston, MA, to study Health Science at Northeastern University. During her time at Northeastern, she found her love of Public Health, including health education and HIV care and prevention. During two gap years between undergrad and medical school, she worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital in a research group focused on improving care and prevention of HIV in both the United States and South Africa.
In 2020, Dr. Bunda began medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. While at Tulane, she spent time working with a community-based HIV testing group and taking public health classes to obtain her Master’s in Epidemiology. During her third year, a 7-week rotation in Nome, Alaska, confirmed Family Medicine was the specialty for her. What excites her most about Family Medicine is the ability to work with patients across the spectrums of age and disease severity, all the while integrating principles of primary care, prevention, and health education.
Dr. Bunda is thrilled to be joining Full Circle Health and to start her training in Family Medicine in beautiful Boise. The opportunity to learn Family Medicine in a program that focuses on rigorous, full spectrum, clinical training made FCH her top choice! In her free time, she looks forward to exploring all the natural beauty Idaho has to offer and hopes to improve on her novice snowboarding skills.
