About The Event

Since 1975, Full Circle Health (formerly Family Medicine Residency of Idaho) has proudly served as Idaho’s healthcare leader and visionary. What began with a mission to cultivate rural family medicine practitioners has grown into a comprehensive healthcare system dedicated to serving communities across Idaho. Each year, we now care for over 40,000 patients through more than 160,000 patient visits, providing critical care and education for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Today, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Full Circle Health is devoted to accessible, high-quality healthcare for every Idahoan, regardless of their background, age, health needs, or ability to pay. This commitment has led us to key milestones that define our mission and impact:

2007: Achieved FQHC Look-Alike status, expanding services for our Medicaid, Medicare, and uninsured patients.

2011: Recognized as a Teaching Health Center, underscoring our dedication to medical education.

2014: Transformed our Treasure Valley clinics into FQHCs through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), solidifying our mission of care for underserved communities.

With 16 distinct education programs in areas such as family medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and HIV/viral hepatitis, Full Circle Health is actively training 94 physicians, pharmacists, and psychologists. Using over 31 rural training sites across Idaho, our residents gain hands-on experience in even the most remote areas, ensuring that every community has access to skilled, compassionate healthcare providers.

As we approach our 50th anniversary in October 2025, we reflect on the hundreds of thousands of lives touched and communities served. Our celebrations will span three days, from October 23-25, 2025, honoring this legacy and looking forward to a vibrant future for Idaho’s healthcare.
