Russell Centanni, PhD

Board Secretary

Member since June 2013

An Ohio native, I arrived in Boise in 1973, joining the faculty at Boise State University. I earned my BS and MS from John Carroll University; my PhD from the University of Montana and completed post-doctoral studies at the University of British Columbia. In the year 2000, I was designated by the Carnegie Foundation as the Idaho Professor of the Year. I retired in 2004, after 31 years of teaching health professional students. I have continued to serve that community by lecturing on emerging infectious diseases, advances in immunology, and serving on the Full Circle Health Board and its Graduate Medical Education Committee.
