Class of 2025

Samantha Carson grew up in Boise, ID and is very excited to be back in the Treasure Valley to continue her education as a physician. After graduating from Bishop Kelly High School, she left Idaho for her bachelor’s in psychology from Carleton College (Minnesota) and two years of work in community health clinics. She returned to Boise to obtain a second bachelors in biology from Boise State before going to Reno, NV for her doctorate in medicine from the University of Nevada, Reno.

She realized her passion for comprehensive, all-aspects-of-wellness healthcare while working in mental health and can’t wait to help her patients address the full-spectrum of their healthcare needs as a family medicine physician in-training.

She and her husband, Taylor, met in Physics class at BSU and recently welcomed a baby girl to their family. Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and two Newfoundland pups, baking gluten free goodies, spending time outside, watching movies, and doing organizing/DIY/craft projects.
