Phyllis You, MD

Family Medicine

Phyllis is a Florida native and grew up in the rural panhandle of Florida. She attended college at Vanderbilt University and received a BS degree in Chemistry. Subsequently, she completed medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, where she was co-founder the USF chapter of Medical Students for Choice and recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Award. She attended Full Circle Health for residency with goals of practicing full spectrum family medicine. Phyllis and her husband grew to love Boise during her residency, and she was ecstatic to accept a position as one of the Meridian-based Full Circle Health faculty afterwards. She is happily married to her high-school sweetheart, Will, who is a small animal veterinarian and avid home-brewer. Together their Boise-based family has grown to include 3 dogs, Dewey, Rocky, and Don Julio, and cat, Rictavius. Her hobbies are too many to list but include traveling, fishing and scalloping, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and cooking.
