Peter Ferrara, MD

Dr. Peter Ferrara is from Doylestown, PA and graduated from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in 2013.  He attended residency at UPMC St. Margaret’s in Pittsburgh, PA, graduating in 2016.  After residency Dr. Ferrara went on to attend OB Fellowship at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, finishing that in 2017.  Dr. Ferrara moved to Jerome in 2017 where he joined St. Luke’s Clinic Jerome Family Medicine to practice outpatient family medicine with OB, inpatient medicine at St. Luke’s Jerome hospital and obstetrics at Magic Valley Hospital.  He currently holds the position of Chief of Staff at St. Luke’s Jerome Medical Center. 

Dr. Ferrara has special interests in teaching, OB, women’s health, pediatrics, global health, and care of the Spanish-speaking population.  He is proficient in Spanish.  When he is not working, Dr. Ferrara enjoys rock and ice climbing, white water kayaking, skiing and snowboarding, snowmobiling and caring for his goats.
