Luke Sugden, DO, FAWM

Sports Medicine Faculty

Dr. Luke Sugden is an Idaho native. Born and raised in Jerome, Idaho.  He graduated from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018 and then came back to the Magic Valley where he attended residency at Family Medicine of Idaho – Magic Valley Rural Training Track (now Full Circle Health FMRI – Magic Valley Rural Program), graduating in 2021.  Dr. Sugden then went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings, MT, finishing that in 2022.  He has returned back to his hometown of Jerome and now practices as a primary care sports medicine physician at St. Luke’s Clinic – Sports Medicine in Twin Falls.  He specializes in non-surgical orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine. He has a special interest in endurance and outdoor sports and has additional training in outdoor and wilderness medicine.  

In his spare time, he and his wife enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, road cycling, cross country skiing, and just about any other activity that gets them outdoors.
