Levi Evans, MD

Nampa Program
Class of 2025

Levi was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley, living most of the time just across the Oregon border in the small town of Milton-Freewater. He stayed at home while attending undergraduate in the valley studying biology. Following college and a gap year as an ophthalmologic medical assistant, he married his friend since high-school, Emma, and moved to Loma Linda, California to start medical school.

While in medical school Levi followed his passion of working with the underserved in the local community by volunteering with the Loma Linda Street Medicine program. He found that he loved taking the time to really get to know the residents at the shelters or parks and is looking forward to serving this population with quality primary care during residency and beyond.

Excited by its potential to improve patient care and reduce medical costs he pursued his interest of point-of-care ultrasound during medical school. He took every opportunity he could to become proficient in many ultrasound exams and to help teach his others. He is excited to use these skills during residency, continue learning new skills and to share his ultrasound training with others.

He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and baby. They love to do just about anything outdoors, but playing pickle ball, camping, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking are some favorites. When they are not outdoors they enjoy playing board games, watching the most recent reality dating shows, baking cookies, or just hanging out with friends.
