Joe Jones, MD

Joe Jones, MD is a laborist at St. Luke’s Boise. Dr. Jones holds a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California at Berkeley and attended the post-baccalaureate pre-medical program at Goucher college in Baltimore, Maryland. He studied medicine at Tulane University and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to joining the St. Luke’s team, Dr. Jones’ role as a medical director involved launching several OB hospitalist programs nationwide. His other main career focus is in minimally invasive and robotic assisted GYN surgical device innovation. Dr. Jones is passionate about resident education, and in addition to duties at Full Circle Health holds a Clinical Instructor appointment in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Riverside.
