Jaclyn Cooperrider, MD
Class of 2017-2018
Jaclyn was born and raised in Boise, ID with her older brother and sister. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of Redlands in Redlands, CA where she also played soccer, worked in the athletic training department, and met her now-husband. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Washington where she participated in multiple community outreach projects including a student-run free clinic and Tar Wars. . Jaclyn has a special interest in sports medicine and palliative care and hopes to pursue a fellowship in one of these areas. In addition, she is a yoga instructor and continues to investigate how yoga can be integrated into the medical care of her patients. In her free time, Jaclyn loves spending time outside playing soccer, ultimate Frisbee, camping, yoga, and running with her dog, Marley. Jaclyn completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship during the Summer of 2018, she now practices in New Zealand.
